Product photography pricing depends on the kind of shot. A flat lay or mannequin shot is the cheapest per product, a studio shoot on a model costs several times more, and a lifestyle set on location is often quoted per shoot. QuickAds charges by the month: $199 for the software, or from $5,000 for shoots our team runs.

Photographers price a clothing shoot by what goes into it: a flat surface or a mannequin, a studio and a model, or a location. The quote also leaves out time, since a studio shoot waits for the samples, the studio and the model to line up.
| What you buy | What the price covers | How it is priced | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flat lay or mannequin shot | Covers a basic shot of the garment laid flat or on a mannequin | Priced per product | Reported at $10 to $30 per product |
| Studio shoot on a model | Covers the studio, the model and the editing | Priced per product | Reported at $100 to $500 or more per product |
| Lifestyle or location shoot | Covers a shoot away from the studio, in a setting | Priced per shoot, by how complex it is | Reported at $500 to $2,000 or more per shoot |
| QuickAds software | Covers on-model and mannequin images from one photo of each garment, on software you run | Priced per month, and each image draws on the plan's monthly credits | $199 a month |
| QuickAds managed | Covers the same images, with our team running the shoots and checking every image before it reaches you | Priced per month, for the catalog | From $5,000 a month |
The three market ranges come from one reply in a Shopify Community thread on photography costs for small clothing stores, June 2025. They describe the market; our own prices are in the pricing section. Source
The software is the app's Prime plan at $199 a month, and you run the shoots yourself. From $5,000 a month, our team runs them for you. We quote output and turnaround, never a return figure.
You run it: on-model and mannequin images for every garment, from the photos you already have.
Our team runs the shoots: the models, the sets and a check on every image before it reaches you. Each batch takes 5 to 7 days.
Creative plus campaign management, on a six-month minimum term.
With each image. On the software's default setting, each garment image is color-measured against your photo where the garment can be isolated, and scored keep or retry against six quality standards. The score is advice: a flagged image is still delivered and charged, and the retry is your call.
A shoot quote is per product or per shoot, so a fair comparison starts with the count. Set your garments and formats, and the counter works out the frames and the shoots. It prices nothing.
Frames are garments times formats. A shoot takes up to 60 garments in one format, all on a model or all on a form, so each extra format is another shoot. Send these two numbers in the form, and we'll come back with a plan for them.
GeneratedOne shoot as delivered: 60 womenswear garments on three models and one set, run on August 21, 2026. Every frame is generated from one garment photo and one model photo. The garment photos come from published product and campaign pages, none of them client work, and one tile repeats another to fill a slot lost in the export.
There is no single average, because photographers price by the shot. A basic flat lay or mannequin shot is usually the cheapest per product, a studio shoot on a model costs several times more, and a lifestyle shoot on location is often quoted per shoot. QuickAds charges by the month instead: $199 a month for the software, or from $5,000 a month when our team runs the shoots.
Not in cash. The software is a flat monthly plan, and each image draws on its monthly credits, two for a 4K image, so a quiet month and a busy one cost the same. Managed work is quoted by the month for the catalog, and each batch takes 5 to 7 days.
It depends on the count. A photographer is quoted per product or per shoot, while the software is a flat monthly plan, so its price per image falls as you make more images, up to the plan's credits. A photographer still gives you more control over one exact picture of a specific person or place.
A managed batch through our team takes 5 to 7 days. On the software you run the shoot yourself, and our two 60-garment runs on August 21, 2026 took 25 and 23 minutes, from the first garment to the last frame. A studio shoot has to wait for the samples, the studio and the model to line up.
The software is billed monthly, or yearly at a lower price over the full year, and you run it yourself from the QuickAds app. The productized plan, which adds campaign management to the creative work, runs on a six-month minimum term.
For a campaign image built around a specific person or place, yes, book the shoot. For catalog volume, the software or our team makes on-model and mannequin images from one photo of each garment, on models and sets you pick. You can do both, with a shoot for the hero images and generated images for the rest of the range.
QuickAds is a performance creative company that runs the whole chain: creative intelligence, creative strategy, creative production, influencer marketing and campaign management. Ecommerce fashion photography is the link that turns one photo of each garment into on-model and mannequin images for the store and the ads. A photographer does the shoot well, and the shoot is one link.
